KINONA Team

  • Dianne Celuch

    Co-Founder & CEO

After leaving a long and full career in the corporate apparel world, I now have the amazing opportunity to combine my years of apparel experience with my passion for golf. My title is CEO but in a start up, we are all wearing many hats, I am getting to learn what it means to build a company from scratch. My days are spent working with our design team, factory partners, warehouse and sales team. I love that I have been able to not only apply my background to KINONA but to also learn so much more. In my "spare time", I love to golf, travel and spend time with my grand children.

  • Tami Fujii

    Co-Founder & Chief Strategist

Dianne and I started KINONA because we truly hated the limited choices available in women's golf apparel. It would be demoralizing walking into a nice golf club only to find a limited selection of wearable, stylish and functional golf clothes. When we talked to other women golfers, we found out we were not alone. I have spent the last several decades (cough, cough) in the apparel, consumer products and tech industry in product management and marketing, working for the global giants as well as start ups. My passion is in building brands. From the beginning, we wanted KINONA to to be more than just another apparel brand. We wanted to create a company to reach underserved women who desired apparel that reflects their own sense of style with function built in that addresses their needs. We also wanted to help change some of the attitudes and "old guard" thinking in golf. KINONA has truly been a labor of love, blood sweat and yes, a few tears. I get to work with people I truly enjoy and model what hard work and determination looks like for my son. I enjoy entertaining and cooking for family and friends. My husband (see Keith below:) and I enjoy taking golf vacations and exploring new restaurants and cities.

  • Keith Heffernan

    CFO

While enjoying my retirement from a career in corporate finance, I remember asking Tami, "do you need help pulling together that financial forecast?". Well, suffice it to say, that was the end of my short lived retirement. I am originally from Nova Scotia, Canada and moved to the U.S. in the early 90's. I studied and worked as an Industrial Engineer but went back to school to get my MBA in finance. I have had a great career over the last 30 years working for large fortune 100 companies. With KINONA, I manage all of our accounting, strategic planning, capital investments, customer service and warehouse operations. It has been really gratifying watching the company grow over these past few years and while I miss my retirement, I try to get out and play a few rounds of golf when I can.

  • Jarlath Mellett

    Designer

When Dianne and Tami asked me if I would consider designing their new women's golf brand, I jumped at the chance. I had worked with Dianne and Tami at Eddie Bauer when I was the design director many moons ago. I have also worked for fashion brands as design director for Theory and Brooks Brothers and and founded Jarlath Mellett, a comprehensive design studio based in Manhattan with a boutique shop in The Hamptons. I am influenced by art, pop culture and nature. I pull from so many different influences when designing for the KINONA consumer. You will see a common thread of modern vintage as my inspiration. I feel KINONA brings a fresh perspective to the women's golf industry and I am so happy to be a part of it. I currently live in the countyside with my husband and our dogs.
