(SEATTLE, WA) – KINONA, the women-led, women-inspired golf apparel company announced plans to participate in the 2021 Virtual PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 26-29, available at virtual.PGAShow.com. The 68th edition of the PGA Merchandise Show shifts to an all-virtual format to drive business, education and networking through a highly interactive PGA Show Virtual Experience and Marketplace, allowing PGA Professionals, golf retailers, industry leaders, and manufacturers to participate from the safety of their homes, facilities, or offices. “We are excited to attend this year’s virtual PGA Merchandise Show and can’t wait for attendees to view the fashion-forward, comfortable, and functional items we have created for our 2021 collection,” said KINONA Co-Founder, Tami Fujii. “At KINONA, we hope to empower women and create smartly designed apparel that lets modern women feel and play at their best.”
KINONA was founded by two golfers tired of spending a lot of money on golf apparel but still never getting something they really liked. They set out to make their own brand of high performance yet flattering golf wear with exciting designs and cuts instead of the boxy, masculine polos that had been taking over their closets to solve the problem. Now KINONA produces clothing to help women of all sizes both play and look their best. This includes products like the Toa Tee Golf Dress that features UPF protection and four-way stretch fabric, and a mesh undershirt with leg grippers to keep it from riding up during the swing.
Local PNW apparel company KINONA is changing how women play the game of golf. Based out of Pacific Palisades and Seattle, founders and amateur golfers Dianne Celuch and Tami Fujii met working at Eddie Bauer and found that ill-fitting cuts, and sub-standard fabrics available for women made every female golfer they knew feel self-conscious. They set out to empower women with exciting styles, fit, fabrics, and functionality that inspire confidence and enhanced performance on the course. Crafting apparel that matches needs and caliber of play, the young brand has debuted a new line of functional apparel alongside built-in tee holders, back pockets and use of high-end Italian fabric Our suggestion? Take a look at the new line and nab some comfy clothes for your next outing. We’re eyeing the sleeveless golf top and dress with some dashing black polka dots, as well as their flower power prints and spare layers for early spring golfing sessions.
Kinona’s Leg Warmer Thigh Highs are seriously a great idea. These women’s golf thigh highs are multi-purpose. First, they protect your legs from the sun’s rays with UPF 50+ Italian fabric. Second, these thigh highs will keep you warm on those chilly mornings, and unlike putting on a pair of leggings, they are easy to get on and off thanks to the zippers at the bottoms that allow you to just slide them on and off without taking off your golf shoes. Lastly, these leg warmers look fantastic and are super comfortable thanks to the no-slip grippers at the top of the legs.
