Swinging 60s designs and colors inspired the new, contemporary collection by the women-led golf apparel brand
Seattle, WA - March 10, 2022 - KINONA, the fast-growing women’s golf apparel brand, has launched a far out new collection of golf fashions. Seeking to push the agenda of fashion-forward designs, KINONA’s new early summercollection evokes the best of the swinging 60s, while at the same time bringing today’s runway looks to the course. “Our constant goal is to elevate and improve women’s golf fashion to allow them to be and look their best, while playing the game they love,” said KINONA Co-Founder, Tami Fujii. “With the new collection, we’ve captured the glamor and vibrant power of 60s styles and paired that with the comfort and performance that women have come to expect from us.”
Kelly green and preppy pink are featured prominently in the collection, creating a dynamic color palette grounded in navy. Color blocking, positive and negative prints, and geometric style lines are also featured, and are true to KINONA’s signature style. The new patterns and colors are highlighted across various dresses, skorts, shorts, pants, and tops.
“The new designs are inspired by the graphic prints and silhouettes from the Queen’s Gambit and 60’s country clubs,” said KINONA designer, Jarlath Mellett. “I always love modernizing classic styles and mixing in designs that are on trend with what you see on the runway. I believe we have delivered again on providing a fresh and colorful collection that women will love.”
KINONA, meaning “shape” in Hawaiian, was launched in 2017 by Tami Fujii and Dianne Celuch as a women’s golf apparel brand that is made by female golfers, for female golfers. The brand has also recently announced that some of their styles are now available on Nordstrom.com and will soon be at Dillard’s stores in Arizona and on Dillards.com.
